Thanks for sharing this. Very cool, and somewhat surprising results. I would have guessed Doomsday to be higher on the list, and i see that my favorite Stan Lee construction, “If This Be My…” doesn’t appear at all. Maybe that appeared more on covers than actual issue titles.

I took a look at the data, and found 4 “If This Be My"s, only one of which was by Stan ("Destiny"). There are five titles like “This X, This Y", again only one of which is courtesy Stan (Man/Monster).

Hello!

In case you didn’t know, you’ve been featured on the AV Club: http://www.avclub.com/article/homecomings-aftermath-most-overused-words-comic-bo-227989

But that’s not your head in the picture!

Congratulations!

J:)

Thanks for the heads-up Jennie! That guy in the picture is a slightly-hunkier me. He’s the guy you would cast as me in the sitcom where I’m somebody’s unthreateningly attractive friend.

A red box is Stan, I presume?

This is amazing.

Thanks!
Yes, a red box is Stan. Note that you can hover over the box (or over the cells in the main graph) for a tooltip that gives you more information; and, clicking on a box or cell will give you a link to the comic’s page on comics.org, which is fun.
